Hiroshige

Update (9/24/18): ‘Hiroshige’ is even fuller with blossoms now!

This is just a short appreciation post for one of my African violets, ‘Hiroshige’ (Optimara). It was throwing an absolute fit the whole time I had it in a northeast-facing window, but since I finally understood its pleas for more light and placed it in this southwest-facing window, it’s now showing off this gorgeous display! This is my second Hiroshige, the first one suddenly perishing from an unknown cause about two years ago. I loved that violet so much for its unique blooms, so it was inevitable that I’d purchase my current incarnation. ‘Hiroshige”s displays are definitely a spectacle to behold!

I hope you have a happy Monday!
